Latte at Glyncorrwyg, yum yum!

I went to Glyncorrwyg again on Saturday, but not really to go riding, for the amazing food and drink at the visitor centre of course! We did slip a ride in first though, just to make sure that the food and drink was well earned.

The weather wasn't quite as spangly as forecast, but we were off the hill and supping latte by the time the rain came in. The group had split and some of the fellas had gone off to do the Wall down at Afan. Those of us who'd gone with the easy one lap option felt quite smug as we looked out at the lashing rain from our cosy chairs inside the cafe. ha!

It was a pretty good day, and my first mountain bike expedition since the dastardly foot accident. I did manage to slip my pedal and have to prod the afflicted foot into the ground a little harder than I'd've' liked... it hurt, but not too bad. It's on the mend. Noticeable that I haven't been riding loads though, the legs were aching and I was knackered by the end.. or maybe it was the late night the night before after a crazy Karting Grand Prix in Bristol which ended up being won by Joe Finney - nice one Joe!
